To become a PADI Master Instructor, you must:
- Be a current IDC Staff Instructor
- Have certified 150 or more PADI divers across a variety of course
- Have staffed at least two full IDCs
- Have been a PADI Instructor for at least two years
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuing education and diver safety
- Have a clean and professional instructional history with PADI
